Dashboard and reports

Dashboard
The Dashboard is the quick picture: how much time was tracked, on which projects, and what the team worked on last. It is the first place to look before opening a full report.
How reports work
Every report is built the same way: choose a date range, narrow it with filters, and decide whether to show money. This article covers what all reports share.
Summary report
The Summary report adds time up and groups it. It answers questions like “how many hours did each project take last month?” or “who worked on what for this client?”
Detailed report
The Detailed report lists every time entry, one per row. It is the place to check exactly what was tracked, correct mistakes, and prepare time for invoicing.
Time audit
Time audit finds entries that look wrong before they reach a client or payroll: time with no project, entries that are suspiciously short or long, and entries missing a required field.
Weekly report
The Weekly report is a grid of hours per day. It shows at a glance who worked how much on each day of the week.
Attendance report
The Attendance report shows each person’s working day: when they started, when they finished, their breaks, and whether they worked more or less than expected.
Assignments and Expenses reports
Two more report tabs appear when their features are in use: Assignments compares the plan with what really happened, and Expenses lists what was spent.
Export and print
Any report can be taken out of Punchly as a PDF, a CSV file or an Excel file, or sent to a printer.
Share and schedule reports
A report you set up once can be shared with colleagues, so they open the same view without rebuilding it. It can also be emailed to them automatically every day, week or month.
