The Team screen
The Team screen lists everyone in the workspace. It is where people are added, given roles and rates, and removed when they leave.
Groups
A group is a named set of people, such as “Engineering” or “Field crew”. Groups save picking the same people one by one when giving project access, naming a team manager or filtering a report.
Reminders
A reminder emails people when they tracked less, or more, than they should have. It is the gentle way to get timesheets filled in without chasing anyone by hand.
Workspace settings
Workspace settings hold everything that applies to the whole company: its name and logo, its time zone and currency, and the switches for each feature.
Permissions
The Permissions tab decides what people who are not admins can see and do. Each setting saves as soon as it is changed.
Your profile
Profile settings are personal. They follow you into every workspace you belong to, and nobody else can change them.
More than one workspace
One account can belong to several workspaces, for example a freelancer working for two companies, or a group with separate companies. Each workspace has its own people, projects, settings and plan.
Notifications and emails
Punchly tells people about things that need them in two ways: under the bell inside the app, and by email. Phone app users can get push notifications too.
Import data
A company moving to Punchly can bring its clients, projects and past time with it from a spreadsheet file.
Audit log
The audit log is the record of every change made in the workspace: what changed, who changed it, when, and what the value was before.
