Messages at the top of the app
Now and then a coloured bar appears above the app. There are three kinds, and each means something different.
| The bar says | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “7 days left in trial” | The workspace is in its free trial. Only the owner and admins see this. | Press Manage to choose a plan before the trial ends. See The free trial. |
| A message from Punchly | News for the whole workspace, such as planned maintenance or a new feature. | Read it, then close it with the X. It does not come back. |
| “This workspace is suspended” | Punchly support has paused the workspace. Everyone can still look at their data and export it, but nothing can be changed and timers cannot start. | The owner presses Contact support on the bar. |
While a workspace is suspended
- Viewing and exporting still work.
- A timer that was already running can be stopped.
- The Subscription tab and the support form still work.
- The desktop app keeps what it had already recorded and sends it once the suspension is lifted.
A failed payment does not suspend a workspace. It moves to the Free plan after a few days. See Cancelling, and what happens when a plan ends.
