What Punchly is

Punchly is a time tracking tool for teams. People record the hours they work against a project and a client. Managers see where the time went, approve it, and bill it.

Sign up and create a workspace

The first person from a company signs up, names the workspace, and becomes its owner. It takes about a minute and needs no password.

Logging in works the same way as signing up: Google, Microsoft, or a code sent by email. There is no password to remember or reset.

A tour of the screen

Every screen has the same frame: the menu on the left, and a bar across the top with the workspace name, notifications, help and your account.

Roles: who can do what

A role decides what a person can see and change. Everyone is a member. Some people are given more on top of that, and roles add up.

Invite your team

People join a workspace through an email invitation. The admin types the addresses, each person gets a link, and one click later they are in.

Track your first hours

There are two everyday ways to record time. Run a timer while you work, or type your hours into the weekly timesheet afterwards.

The free trial

Every new workspace starts with a 7-day trial that opens up the Pro plan’s features, so a company can try the full product before choosing a plan.
